This session gives an introduction to directing and ways to interpret a text to stage. For participants aged 16 – 25 years old.
INSTRUCTOR PROFILE Nawfal Zamri is currently pursuing his BA in Theatre Directing at ASWARA and has been active in the scene since 2006. He has directed nearly 30 plays including Oliver the Musical. He is an active theatre trainer mainly in children’s theatre and was awarded the Malaysian Book of records for producing and directing the first musical theatre performed by Down syndrome kids in 2010.

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pre-registered participants must turn up 15 mins before the workshop commencement time. Failing which, allocated space will be released accordingly without prior notice.
Pre-registered participants will be put on a guestlist. No ticket or confirmation slip is necessary.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
Parents are not allowed to be in the studio for all children workshops. Parents are welcome to wait outside the studio.
Participants in the children workshop must be toilet-trained and crying participants may be asked to leave the workshop.

Then+Now photo submissions open from 10th June 2016 to 15th July 2016
Photos submitted may be of anything from people, buildings, objects, landscape, and subject matter that fits the requirement and theme of 'Then + Now'
Digital submissions via online form on YSDAF website is preferable. However, you may also e-mail your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org or walk in to the klpac office if you require a staff member to help you scan the photos
Works must be original and not plagiarized or duplicated from anywhere else on the internet or otherwise
No limits are made to the number of submissions allowed, but duplicates are not permitted
YSDAF retains the right to publish the submissions online, in the official website and all of their social media assets, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, for non-commercial purposes
YSDAF retains the right to print the submissions into giveaways, brochures, or any form of promotional and non-promotional material for the event and thereafter
