klpac is Malaysia’s only fully-integrated arts centre housed in an award-winning heritage building with a 122-year-old history.

Besides presenting a varied programming, its venue is also open for bookings for performances, events and launches, festivals, shoots, recording and more.

Ticketing

1) How do I purchase tickets?
CloudJoi is our official ticketing agent. Ticket can be purchased online via https://www.cloudjoi.com.

2) How do I make group bookings?
If you would like to purchase 15 tickets or more, please fill out the group booking form here. Our box office staff will reach out to you soon.

3) Does klpac take ticket bookings?
No, klpac does not take bookings. You must make a purchase to secure your tickets.

4) Does my child need a ticket?
Age limit varies depending on the show, do check before purchasing your ticket. Yes, your child requires a ticket / seat so that the venue & show producer has an accurate headcount which is especially important in case of emergency / evacuation.

F&B

Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah (formerly Jalan Ipoh) is a haven for food lovers. Additionally, the following four restaurants are located within Sentul Park. Ice-cream is also available at klpac’s Resource Centre and there are three vending machines for cold drinks, hot drinks & snacks.

Is there a dress code?
No, klpac does not enforce any dress code. But do bring a jacket along as it can get pretty chilly!

Do we have room for a mother to nurse their baby?
Do approach our Front-of-House or Security team and they would be happy to guide you to a more private space that is available.

Are food and drink allowed inside the theatre?
Food & drinks are strictly not allowed in Pentas 1 due to the seating / carpeting. Depending on the show, sometimes drinks are allowed in Pentas 2 and indicine. Do read the Front-of-House notice or check with our Front-of-House team. If drinks are permitted, do ensure that you dispose of the packaging / return the glasses after the show.

Do you have a surau?
Yes there are. Suraus are available for both male and female next to the respective rest room spaces located on the ground floor of klpac, nearby the Resource Centre and Security Counter.

Disability Access

Accessible Carpark
There are three designated carpark lots near klpac’s drive-thru for disabled persons. Best to e-mail our Box Office Supervisor jennifer@klpac.org in advance to reserve a lot (do provide your contacts & car plate number). On the show day, go by klpac’s drive-thru and the security officer stationed there will assist you.

Lift Access
There is lift access up to Level 2 of klpac.

Accessible Toilet
There is one unit of accessible toilet each in the female and male washrooms located on the Ground Floor.

Accessible Seating
Pentas 1 theatre has fixed seating. The first row of seats (A row) is on the same level as the Ground Floor side entrance accessible from the main foyer. There are eight front row seats (A1, A6, A7, A10, A11, A14, A15, A19) with side handles that can open up to make it easier for those in wheelchairs to transition to their seats.

Pentas 2 theatre has modular seating which means the seating layout / configuration will change. The theatre entrance is also on the Ground Floor and seats on the Ground Floor can be arranged.

Tactile Paving
For people who are blind / have low vision, there are metal tactile plates (detectable warning plates) on the Ground Floor at the main entrance of klpac, outside of Pentas 2 entrance, before the stairs and security entrance for cast / crew.

Wheelchairs & Ear Defenders
Under klpac Connect, you can loan a pushchair / wheelchair (2 units available) or ear defender if you / your child is sensitive to loud noise from our Front of House staff (subject to availability).

Outdoor Grounds
There is a wheelchair-accessible path outdoors. There are drain covers at certain locations to provide access to the lawn.

Theatre Etiquette

Patrons are kindly requested to observe the following rules to help ensure an enjoyable evening for all.

Please arrive early
Latecomers will only be admitted during an appropriate break in the performance, and may be seated at the back of the theatre.

Please do not leave your seat or re-enter the theatre during a performance unless in an emergency
Please eat, drink or use the restroom before the show or during the intermission.

Please ensure all beeping and/or glowing devices are switched off
This includes all mobile phones, pagers and watch alarms. Taking calls and texting is prohibited during a performance.

Photography of any kind without prior permission from the management  is strictly prohibited
If you are attending a performance where photography is allowed, please ensure that your camera does not beep, or flash.

Please do not talk, or sing along except when encouraged to do so by the artist or show
While reactions from the audience, and participation where appropriate is encouraged, we ask that it is in a manner that is not disruptive to the performance.
