Kabut in the Park is the dream yard sale for bargain hunters who never leave disappointed. Back with a year’s calendar this time, shoppers and vendors alike can now plan their dates ahead, with an exciting theme each edition, all year round at The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac).

Come join the Kabut in the Park community and help minimise pollution, shop sustainably, reduce your impact on the climate, make new friends and find unique upcycled, retro or vintage items! Created with Earth in mind – all F&Bs are sold packaging-free. Remember to BYOC (Bring Your Own Cups, Cutleries, Containers, Carrier bags, and Camping gear).

According to founder Evangeline Lim, Kabut is a no-frills yard sale that will whet the appetite of any self-respecting KonMari Warrior. With no hefty vendor fees and requirements, Kabut in the Park was created to cater to non-retail owners – just regular people – who want to give a second life to their pre-loved items while benefiting others and reducing waste. A portion of Vendor fees also goes to help sustain the Arts.

As frills are kept to a minimum, so are prices. Shoppers that come for Kabut in the Park can find almost anything under the sun. Besides common items like electronic gadgets, toys, clothing, shoes and books, there will also be seasonal items for sale.
Kabut vendors also often share things for free in the Free Bins, so you might just be able to find yourself a gift. There’s a genuine generous vibe which you must feel in person. So whether you are a bargain hunter, a student living off a limited budget, a theatre person looking for props or simply out for a feel good time – come get a shopping experience like no other at Kabut in the Park!

This month’s special will celebrate with echoes of the much-loved The klpac Symphonic Band returning with their own free outdoor concert, Music Play Date at the other side of klpac. Look out as they serenade you with an enchanting experience. So come by and enjoy not just one, but two events!

Make it a family outing, bring snacks, outdoor games and have a picnic in the park while you’re there.
